Lewis, the eccentric and reclusive founder of the insurer Progressive Corp., is one of the biggest donors in Democratic and liberal politics. He invested $25 million in the failed effort to oust President George W. Bush in 2004, making him one of the biggest donors in American political history. He coordinated his giving that year with billionaire George Soros, who gave $50 million. ~ thepartyofknow.com

Controlling the airwaves to deliver the Progressive message:  Rally Cry

If letting your “insurance” company spy on your whereabouts and driving habits so you can save a few bucks—gosh, if that seems like a good trade-off to you, chances are you aren’t bothered by the Orwellian slant to Progressive’s latest ad.

Sure, medical insurers do the same thing, but that doesn’t make it right.   How fast can we slide into Big Brother Hell?

At least we still have a choice NOT to buy Progressive Insurance.   Laugh at cute Flo, and her bright red lipstick for now if you want.  As for me, she can take that snapshot and shove it ——–up someone else’s dashboard.  Not mine, though, not mine.
